May 2020 - The Croft Video
The Croft has teamed up with production company Go Vocal to make a video showcasing the work of the unit. Cambridge-based Go Vocal Video spent a day filming with staff and students before putting together the film, which highlights the therapy and teaching provision at The Croft, as well as the facilities available to parents and their families.

Nadine Gooding-Hébert, teacher in charge at The Croft, said: “It was an absolute pleasure to work with the Go Vocal team putting together the video. Simon and Paul understood our brief completely, were sensitive to our setting and got on brilliantly with the young people, their families and our team. They were very generous with their time and we are delighted with the finished product. The film gives a flavour of the programmes and activities at The Croft, and of some of the hard work that goes into ensuring that families on the unit feel comfortable during their time with us.”

April 2020 - 7 Day Service
The unit has recently moved from being a 5 day service to offering a 7 day service. Most children and families using the service continue to attend Monday to Friday, returning home at weekends. This allows families the opportunity to practice new strategies in their home environment at the weekend. Some children and families need support 7 days a week at the beginning of their admission, with the aim to progress to attending 5 days a week as soon as they are able to do so.
