Help us develop better mental health services for children and young people
Young people, parents and carers are needed to help develop a new mental health service.
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is to start a new home treatment service for children and young people.
The service will provide intensive treatment for children, young people and their families at home.
Service lead Louise Marks (pictured) said: “This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and develop a new service. We want it to be the best it can be – and ensure the views of children, young people and their parents and carers are heard.
“We will be holding a number of online meetings and development sessions so we are looking for young people over the age of 18 who have previous experience of child and adolescent mental health services - as well as carers and parents of those who have used services - to join a number of meetings and support the development of this new service.”
Virtual meetings will be held every four weeks for about two hours. Attendance expenses will be paid. To find out more email Louise via louise.marks2@cpft.nhs.uk.
The closing date is 8 October.
CPFT employs more than 4,000 staff who provide mental healthcare for children and adult, community physical healthcare for older people and those with long-term conditions, , children’s health services in Peterborough, learning disability support and social care support.
