Nurses Day celebrated across CPFT

Nurses Day was marked across the Trust as teams and services found time to celebrate their colleagues’ dedication.

Interim Chief Nurse Rachel Gomm, Deputy Chief Nurse Mike Seaman and nursing leaders criss-crossed CPFT to thank teams for their work.

In a joint message to colleagues ahead of Nurses Day on Sunday, 12 May, they said: “At our Trust – and across the NHS – these remain challenging times, but you demonstrate kindness, compassion and professionalism on a daily basis.

“Most of all, you care – for our patients, service-users and for each other.

“So to all our nurses, and all those who work alongside them, we would like to wish you a happy Nurses Day on Sunday – and thank you again for your dedication.”
