The aim of this page is to provide links to publications, research and resources which focus on suicide prevention.
NCISH | The University of Manchester study has collected in-depth information on all suicides in the UK since 1996. They have published a number of reports looking at reducing suicide in specific groups of people. Their recommendations to improved patient safety in mental health settings and reduce patient suicide rates have contributed to an overall reduction in suicide in the UK. The evidence is cited in national policies and clinical guidance and regulation in all UK countries.
Zero Suicide Alliance are a members-led charity dedicated to preventing suicide. We work in collaboration with NHS trusts, non-profit organisations, local authorities, businesses and individuals to raise awareness of suicide and its contributing factors. We aim to break the stigma that surrounds suicide and enable leaders to drive meaningful action to help prevent suicide in the UK and beyond.

National Suicide Prevention Alliance (NSPA) is an alliance of public, private and voluntary organisations in England who care about suicide prevention and are willing to take individual and collective action to reduce suicide and self-harm, and support those bereaved or affected by suicide.
Suicide Prevention Resources and Guidance provides help for local authorities, public healthcare professionals, police forces, and others to prevent suicides in their areas.
