Clinical innovation at CPFT

The clinical innovation team works with CPFT staff, patients, industry and innovation partners to support the development and implementation of new approaches to improve clinical practice.
An innovation is a novel idea, technology, practice or object that leads to added value when applied, changing business as usual.

We are interested in new approaches and technologies for the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, long-term physical conditions, autism, eating disorders and dementia, and supporting healthy ageing, to improve the lives of people who use our services.

One of four national centres, the hub supports clinical teams to implement and spread proven innovations, with a particular focus on tackling health inequalities.
